This free lease renewal tracker keeps upcoming lease end dates, renewal status, and tenant follow-ups across your properties in one place — a practical lease expiration tracker for landlords and property managers who don’t want renewal dates slipping through the cracks. No account needed.
STEP 1 OF 3
A lease renewal tracker lists your tenants’ upcoming lease end dates alongside renewal status and follow-up information, so you can see at a glance which renewals need attention soon.
This tool tracks the renewal dates and status you enter — it doesn’t generate lease agreements, renewal contracts, or eviction notices, and it doesn’t calculate what rent increase is legally permitted in your area.
Days remaining is calculated from each lease’s end date. Future, Approaching, Due, and Expired use practical default thresholds to flag timing; check your lease and local rules for any required notice period.
A lease is set to end in 45 days, so the tracker flags it “Approaching.” The manager adds a follow-up date for two weeks out, with a note: “call tenant to confirm renewal interest.” Once that follow-up date passes without a status update, it shows up in the “follow-ups due” count, keeping the renewal from quietly falling through the cracks.
Relying on memory instead of a tracker for more than a handful of leases, not setting a follow-up date so a renewal conversation never actually gets scheduled, treating the Approaching/Due thresholds as legal deadlines rather than reminders you control, and forgetting to update the renewal status once a decision is made.
Track tenant charges and payments and generate a clear running balance ledger.
Organize a property and its units, occupancy, tenants, and rent in one structured register.
Document phone calls, emails, conversations, and follow-ups with tenants in one chronological log.
Calculate a new rent amount after a percentage or fixed increase.
